Florida at Mississippi

When/where: 6; C.M. "Tad" Smith Coliseum, Oxford, Miss.

TV/radio: SEC Network; 620-AM

Records: Florida 10-8, 3-2 SEC. Ole Miss 11-7, 2-3.

Notable: Coming of two consecutive SEC losses, this is a critical game for the Gators in trying to remain above the pack in the SEC race. Nine of the league's 14 teams are either 3-2 or 2-3 in conference play. In addition to the Florida-Ole Miss game, Georgia-Mississippi State and Auburn-Alabama feature games between teams in that cluster. Florida has won six of the last seven and 12 of the past 14 in the series. Five of the past six games have been decided by six points or fewer. The Gators have struggled with 3-point defense of late, but tonight must also keep the Rebels off the free-throw line. Ole Miss has the nation's top free-throw percentage (308-for-386, 79.8 percent).
