Florida-Tennessee preview

No. 6 Florida vs. Tennessee

When/where: 4; O'Connell Center, Gainesville

TV/radio: ESPN; 620-AM

Records: Florida 16-2, 5-0 SEC; Tennessee 12-6, 3-2

Notable: Florida enters with a 25-game home winning streak, and today marks the 600th game of coach Billy Donovan's UF career. The Gators face the Vols after a less-than-48-hour turnaround since their last game, Thursday at Alabama. Mechanical problems with their plane forced the Gators to spend an extra night in Tuscaloosa. Senior F Casey Prather said the Gators know what they have to do: "Be mentally ready," he said. "Just know that we have a lot to do. … We've got a great coaching staff, and they do a great job scouting." … An unranked Tennessee team has beaten a Gators team ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 11 times, eight times when Florida was in the top 10.
