Florida vs. Texas Southern

When/where: 7; O'Connell Center, Gainesville

TV/radio: SEC Network; 620-AM

Records: Florida 4-4, Texas Southern 1-6

Notable: The Gators return after a 38-point win over Yale on Monday. It's the first meeting between the Gators and Tigers, but UF is 8-0 all time vs. currently SWAC team. The Gators, who struggled early with lack of depth due to injuries and a team suspension, are slowly healing. Dorian Finney-Smith's broken hand continues to cause some pain, but he is playing and coach Billy Donovan said the injury is healing. And G Eli Carter (foot sprain) is expected to return tonight but to what extent he'll contribute is unknown. "I still think he's not moving as well as I'd like to him to move," Donovan said. "I don't know if that's him being cautious or him feeling some pain there, but he feels like he can go. He's cleared, and it's really on him now, and he's at a place where he wants to do it."
