Florida State at Syracuse

When/where: 8; Carrier Dome, Syracuse, N.Y.

TV/radio: ESPNU

Records: FSU 9-6, 1-1 ACC; Syracuse 11-4, 2-0

Notable: Syracuse is uncharacteristically unranked, but it puts a five-game winning streak on the line against FSU, which has won five of its past six. It's the Seminoles' first game at the Carrier Dome with both schools being in the same conference. The patented 2-3 defense of Orange coach Jim Boeheim remains stingy; over the past five games it has held opponents to an average of 53 ppg, with a field-goal percentage defense that ranks 14th in the nation (36.7). Syracuse C Rakeem Christmas has scored in double figures in all but one game. G Devon Bookert ranks second in FSU history in career free-throw percentage (.818) and 3-point shooting percentage (.455).
