TALLAHASSEE — Brittany Brown and Chatrice White each scored 13 and No. 8 Florida State rolled to a 79-48 victory over Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Leticia Romero and Imani Wright added 12 apiece for the Seminoles (25-4, 13-2 ACC), who still have a chance for a share of the conference title.

FSU goes into Sunday's regular-season finale at Notre Dame needing a win to secure a share of the regular-season title and the top seed in the ACC tournament. "They did a great job of limiting distractions. They stayed focus," FSU coach Sue Semrau said. "Now we have to go and have that same type of focus on Sunday."

No. 5 NOTRE DAME 82, BC 45: Lindsay Allen had 18 points and eight assists as the host Fighting Irish (26-3, 14-1 ACC) dominated inside and never relented.

Men: USF falls again

TULSA, Okla. — Pat Birt scored 16 and Martins Igbanu added 14 to lead Tulsa to an 82-68 victory over USF. The Golden Hurricane (13-14, 7-8 AAC) snapped a six-game losing streak, while handing the conference's last-place Bulls (7-20, 1-15) their third straight loss. USF's Geno Thorpe had a game-high 24 points.

UNC FAN LET BACK IN: A fan who reportedly shouted an insult at Louisville coach Rick Pitino during Wednesday's halftime at North Carolina was told he could return after being ejected from the Smith Center, a UNC official said. The fan was sitting in a seat near the court that belongs to season ticket holders or people who have been offered seats by booster groups, said Clint Gwaltney, UNC's senior associate athletic director for operations. Gwaltney said he does not know the man or his name. He directed questions about the man's name to the UNC police department, which has not responded to calls for comment. Officials said the man was later told he could return but had to watch the game from elsewhere in the arena. UNC coach Roy Williams said he apologized to Pitino after the game.

PLAYER SUSPENDED: Creighton's Maurice Watson is a suspect in an alleged sexual assault in Omaha, Neb., police said. According to an incident report, a 19-year-old woman said Watson had nonconsensual sex with her in the bathroom of a midtown residence about 3 a.m. on Feb. 4. Officer Michael Pecha said no arrest has been made and an investigation continues. No. 23 Creighton announced that Watson has been suspended from all athletic-related activities since Feb. 13. The senior sustained a season-ending knee injury last month. He has not responded to requests for comment. Watson was named to the preseason All-Big East first team. He was a candidate for the Wooden Award as the nation's top player until he tore the ACL in his left knee Jan. 16.
