Men's basketball preview: Florida at Auburn

Florida at Auburn

When/where: 8; Beard-Eaves Coliseum, Auburn, Ala.

TV/radio: FSN; 620-AM

Records: UF 14-2, 1-0 SEC; Auburn 10-5, 0-1

Notable: This is the first SEC road game for the Gators, who have just five active players on the roster who have been on the road for a league game — and only two have been to Auburn. For the second straight year, the Gators open league play with three SEC West opponents (beat Mississippi last week, and Arkansas visits Saturday). Florida has won eight straight games, while Auburn has won seven of its last eight. Auburn's disruptive defense is a concern — the Tigers are forcing 18.3 turnovers per game. … Billy Donovan needs one win to become the first UF basketball coach with 300.
