NIT preview: Florida Gators vs. Miami Hurricanes

. tonight

Florida vs. Miami

When/where: 7 tonight; Stephen C. O'Connell Center, Gainesville

TV/radio: ESPNU; 620-AM

Records: UF 24-10, Miami 19-12

Notable: This second-round NIT game is the first meeting between the rivals since 2005, and the Gators own a 44-22 advantage all-time. Florida has won 14 of 16 against the Hurricanes, but UF coach Billy Donovan is expecting a battle tonight, particularly from senior G Jack McClinton, who is averaging 19.5 points. "He is, without question, a go-to guy," Donovan said. For the Gators, the rare opportunity to play Miami is a welcome one. "It's going to be great fun playing them," sophomore F Chandler Parsons said. "Our guys definitely will be ready to play."
