Notable: Florida International has played big teams tough, losing at West Virginia in overtime, falling 63-52 to No. 15 Auburn and beating N.C. State. USF, however, beat Iowa and Texas Tech in the Virgin Islands last weekend. … The Bulls are dominating in turnover margin at plus-14.7 per game, committing a Big East-low 12.7 and forcing a league-high 27.4. … Bulls G Shantia Grace leads the league in 3-pointers per game and averages a team-best 19 points while G Jazmine Sepulveda is getting 12.3 points and three steals per game. Senior F Brittany Denson is fifth nationally with 3.3 blocks per game. … The Golden Panthers have only one player scoring in double digits, 5-foot-10 G Monika Bosilj of Croatia at 16.7. … The Bulls have seven games before Big East play begins.
