USF-Rutgers WNIT preview

.Tonight

Women's NIT, USF vs. Rutgers

When/where: 7, Sun Dome

Radio: 1010-AM

Records: Rutgers 26-9, USF 23-12

Notable: The winner faces South Dakota State or UTEP in Saturday's 3 p.m. title game at a site to be determined. Rutgers and USF split their season series; the Scarlet Knights likely view a 60-51 home loss to the Bulls on March 3 as the game that kept them out of the NCAA Tournament. USF has won 10 of its past 11, and remains undefeated this calendar year against teams not named UConn or Louisville. Rutgers is 9-4 on the road, winning 55-50 Monday to snap Bowling Green's 16-game home win streak.
