The USF men's basketball team will get an early test from a Big Ten powerhouse next season.

The Bulls will face Indiana at Assembly Hall on Nov. 19 as part of the five-team Hoosier Tip-Off Classic, they said Wednesday.

It will be the first time the programs have met.

"This will be a great road challenge I know our guys will embrace," first-year coach Brian Gregory said in a statement.

The event, in which all the teams will play each other, also includes USF hosting at the Sun Dome Howard (Nov. 22), Arkansas State (Nov. 24) and Eastern Michigan (Nov. 26).

"We are also looking forward to hosting some of the Tip-Off Classic games at the Sun Dome and building a strong home environment here in Tampa," Gregory said.

USF, which saw seven players depart from a squad that went 7-23 last season, is expected to release the remainder of its nonconference schedule next week.
