USF women vs. No. 21 Syracuse
When/where: 2 p.m.; Sun Dome, Tampa
TV/radio: Tape-delayed 10 p.m. on BHSN; live 1010-AM
Records: USF 18-7, 7-5 Big East; Syracuse 22-3, 10-2
Notable: USF is coming off a huge win at No. 12 Louisville — a second win against a ranked opponent could put the Bulls in the top 25 for the first time and bolster their NCAA Tournament resume. USF's post players have to contain the Orange's 6-foot-4 Kayla Alexander, a center who leads the Big East at 3.2 blocks per conference game and is among the league leaders in scoring (14.7) and rebounding (8.5). … The Bulls are the top 3-point shooting team in the Big East, hitting 35.7 percent in conference play, but they'll face the league's toughest 3-point defense, which is holding opponents to 25.5 percent.
