Notable: This is a huge opportunity for USF, which beat two ranked teams last week, Louisville and Syracuse, and is in the hunt for its second NCAA Tournament appearance. … Rutgers is 36-1 in the series but has dropped four in a row. Coach C. Vivian Stringer is trying for the fifth time for her 900th win. … USF senior G Andrea Smith was named Big East player of the week after scoring 35 and 18 points against Louisville and Syracuse.
