Women's college basketball preview: USF Bulls vs. Auburn Tigers

Records: USF 2-2, Auburn 1-2

Notable: USF is coming off a disappointing 53-51 loss Saturday to Morgan State, with poor shooting being the Bulls' main problem. Junior G Andrea Smith (15.5 ppg) is the only player scoring in double digits, and she is just 4-of-24 from 3-point range. … The Bulls have gotten a lift from senior C Porche Grant, who has averaged 12.5 rebounds after sitting out the opening two games with a suspension. … Auburn, whose losses are to Florida State and Duke, is led by 6-foot-1 F Jordan Greenleaf, who averages 13 points and 9 rebounds; 6-3 F Blanche Alverson (12 ppg) and 5-8 G Alli Smalley (11.3 ppg) are close behind. … The Bulls next travel to Alabama to play in the Samford Thanksgiving Classic, facing UAB on Friday and Samford on Saturday.

    TAMPA — Receivers Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson were the only Bucs players kneeling during the national anthem before Sunday's game against the Vikings, but DT Gerald McCoy said the team supports their protest "100 percent."
