Records: Providence 15-11, 6-7 Big East; USF 14-12, 5-8
Notable: The Bulls have quickly gone from the fringe of the NCAA bubble to simply trying to secure another Women's NIT berth, which would be USF's sixth in seven seasons. … Coach Jose Fernandez is continuing the indefinite suspensions of three players who violated an unspecified team rule three games ago. The Bulls are 1-2 without guards Janae Stokes and Sequoyah Griffin, two of their top three scorers. … Center Jessica Lawson (14.2 points, 10.2 rebounds) was held scoreless in a loss to West Virginia on Saturday. … The Bulls will have to contain 5-8 guard Chelsea Marandola, who is fourth in the Big East in conference scoring at 17.4 points per game.
