Women's college basketball preview: USF vs. Rutgers

USF women vs. Rutgers

When/where: 7, Sun Dome

Radio: 1010-AM

Records: Rutgers 9-2 (0-0 American Athletic Conference), USF 5-6 (0-0)

Notable: USF enters conference play on a three-game skid, while Rutgers is coming off a 61-58 upset of previously undefeated Georgia. Six-foot Scarlet Knights junior Betnijah Lacey (12.6 ppg, 10.2 rpg) has four consecutive double doubles, while 6-4 sophomore Rachel Hollivay (11 ppg) ranks fifth nationally with 3.6 blocks per contest. With minimal chance to exploit the interior, tonight would seem the ideal time for USF — 26.3 percent from 3-point range — to find its jump shot.
