Late 3-pointer caps furious rally as Bulls stun Thunder

CHICAGO — E'Twaun Moore hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds left, and the Bulls rallied to beat the Thunder 108-105 on Thursday night while ending Russell Westbrook's triple double streak at four.

Westbrook had 43 points on 14-of-32 shooting and added seven assists and eight rebounds. Wednesday night in Oklahoma City, he had career highs with 49 points and 16 rebounds and added 10 assists in an overtime victory over the 76ers.

Westbrook scored 19 in the third quarter to help the Thunder take a 79-72 lead into the fourth. The Bulls pulled within one on Nikola Mirotic's two free throws with 2:16 left. Westbrook then split two defenders with 1:07 left, and Enes Kanter rebounded the miss and scored for a 103-99 lead.

Mirotic made a 3-pointer, and Westbrook hit a jumper with 37.1 seconds left. Mirotic made two free throws with 28.9 to go, pulling Chicago within one. Westbrook then had an airball with the shot clock expiring, and Moore followed with his 3-pointer. After the 3, Westbrook stepped out of bounds after taking the inbounds pass.

Mirotic finished with 26 points for the Bulls.

SAGER RETURNS: Announcer Craig Sager returned to his familiar spot on the NBA sideline after being treated for leukemia. Sager worked the Thunder-Bulls game for TNT, 11 months after he was diagnosed.

AROUND THE LEAGUE: Dominique Wilkins said his statue unveiled by the Hawks means "we have history here now." The granite sculpture, which stands 13½ feet tall and weighs 18,500 pounds, captures Wilkins taking off for a dunk, ball in his right hand. … An attorney for the NBA players' union strongly indicated that the association will want players to again have the age limit for going pro lowered in the next round of collective bargaining. National Basketball Players Association general counsel Gary Kohlman said "quite likely the union will be taking a radically different position" than the NBA on the age issue.
