ORLANDO — Dwight Howard had 26 points and 22 rebounds as the Magic beat the Knicks 118-92 Saturday.
Howard thrived in the lane with the Knicks missing Zach Randolph, their second-leading scorer and top rebounder who was out with a sore right foot.
Missing injured guards Jameer Nelson and Keyon Dooling, the Magic turned to Hedo Turkoglu (25 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds) and Carlos Arroyo (13 points, eight assists) to run the offense. "I don't want to get too excited," Turkoglu said. "It's just one night, until the other guys come back."
