Calvary Christian needed two overtimes to beat host Kissimmee New Dimensions 88-83 in a Class 2A region quarterfinal Thursday night.
The Warriors (12-16) advance to play at district rival Tampa Prep in Tuesday's semifinals.
Early in Thursday's game, Calvary Christian fell behind 17-5 and spent most of the first half playing catch-up. The Warriors never led in regulation but were able to send the game into overtime on Chris Colangelo's 3-pointer with 10 seconds remaining.
In the first overtime, Calvary Christian went ahead only to watch a five-point lead vanish in the final 30 seconds. The Warriors started the second overtime with a 3-pointer from Alex Govan and never relinquished their lead.
In all, Calvary Christian made 16 3-pointers. Govan led the team in scoring with 33 points.
