Bengals No. 3; Ravens ousted
CINCINNATI — Even when Andy Dalton is mixing interceptions and touchdowns, the Bengals win at home. And that's the best thing the AFC North champions take with them into the postseason.
Dalton threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as Cincinnati eliminated defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore.
The Bengals, 8-0 at home, host San Diego in a playoff game next weekend. Cincinnati wound up the AFC's No. 3 seed.
"The last couple of years we played on the road," said Dalton, who threw for 281 yards but four interceptions. "For us to have a home game here, it'll be a great environment."
The Ravens lost their last two to miss the playoffs.
"That's it," said coach John Harbaugh, missing the postseason for the first time in his six seasons. "That ends it. That stings."
