KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Blue Jays' Jose Reyes drove in a pair of runs before he was carted off in the sixth with a sprained left ankle from sliding late trying to steal second. There was no word on his condition. Toronto's J.A. Happ gave up three runs on 41 pitches in the first, but survived through five to win. The Blue Jays hammered Luis Mendoza for eight runs, seven earned, in just 5 2/3 innings.
