Braves 5, Giants 3

ATLANTA — Mallex Smith hit a three-run triple in the second inning and Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz allowed three hits and one run. The Braves survived the Giants' two-run, ninth-inning rally. Atlanta has won three of four and is now 5-21 at home. Giants starter Jeff Samardzija allowed four earned runs in five innings, his shortest start this season.
