ATLANTA — Justin Upton homered and had three RBIs, Jason Heyward drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning and the Braves won their third straight game. Atlanta, winners in 10 of its past 14 games, began the night 11/2 games back in the NL wild-card standings but is just 19-21 since the All-Star break. Andrelton Simmons scored on Heyward's single off Mike Dunn for a 3-2 lead.
