Braves 7, Reds 2
ATLANTA — Matt Wisler snapped a string of four straight losses, and Freddie Freeman had three hits, including a two-run homer, to lead the Braves. Freeman was still hot one day after he became the first player this season to hit for the cycle. "Whoever else is coming into town or wherever (the Braves ) are going, (the opponent) might be in trouble," Reds manager Bryan Price said. "He's some kind of hot right now. and we couldn't figure him out." Freeman had a first-inning single before driving in Mallex Smith with a third-inning homer. Adam Duvall hit his 19th homer and Joey Votto had three hits for the Reds. The Braves won back-to-back home games for only the second time this season, improving their still-dismal home record to 9-27. Wisler allowed two runs on eight hits in 6⅔ innings in his first win since May 20 at Philadelphia.
