ST. LOUIS — Brendan Ryan's broken-bat infield single put the Cardinals back in first in the Central. Ryan Ludwick opened the 10th with a double, his first pinch hit in nine tries this year, then advanced on a bunt. With the infield in, Ryan's grounder was knocked down by lunging second baseman Neil Walker. But he bobbled the ball as Ludwick, who had hesitated, sprinted home.
