ST. LOUIS — Adam Wainwright pitched seven innings, Kolten Wong had a two-run triple and the Cardinals improved to 6-2 against the Brewers. They go for a three-game series sweep today. The Cardinals turned four double plays, including in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. Seung Hwan Oh, a longtime closer in Japan and Korea, finished the seven-hitter for his first career save. The Brewers are 13-25 on the road and have lost 27 of their past 40 against the Cardinals. The Brewers had a hit every inning against Wainwright.
