Colleges

Hey, Gator fans, watch (maybe) your next head coach

Five games UF fans should keep an eye on as the coaching search begins:

No. 15 UCF at SMU: The Knights’ Scott Frost is a top candidate, and SMU’s Chad Morris is in line for a Power Five job soon.

No. 14 Iowa State at West Virginia: The Cyclones’ Matt Campbell is looking for a third quality win at a program that doesn’t get many.

Oregon at No. 12 Washington: A top-15 win would help the case for the Ducks’ Willie Taggart, who is 5-4 since leaving USF.

UMass at No. 21 Mississippi State: The game shouldn’t be close, so focus on the way Dan Mullen uses QB Nick Fitzgerald.

Syracuse at Florida State: Dino Babers should put up more points on the Seminoles than Jim McElwain ever did.
