TAMPA — USF is looking into petitioning the NCAA for a sixth year of eligibility for senior Mo Plancher.

To qualify, a player must show two seasons in which he qualified for a medical redshirt. Plancher, whose 570 rushing yards are most among Bulls running backs, sustained a season-ending knee injury in the 2006 opener. USF must find documentation for an injury in 2005, when Plancher redshirted.

Plancher graduated Saturday with a degree in interdisciplinary social sciences.

This spring, USF got a sixth season for quarterback Grant Gregory, who used it at Kansas State. If Plancher were granted one, the Bulls would return all of their running backs for 2010.

Changes: Coach Jim Leavitt said starter B.J. Daniels is the only player working at quarterback. Backup Evan Landi is working full time at receiver, as is Victor Marc, who worked at safety before switching to quarterback this season. Walk-on Ryan Eppes is working at free safety.
