College football bowl previews: Pinstripe, Belk, Buffalo Wild Wings

Pinstripe Bowl

Who: Rutgers (6-6, 3-5 American Athletic) vs. Notre Dame (8-4)

When/where: noon; New York

TV/radio: ESPN; 620-AM

Line: Notre Dame by 14

Notable: Notre Dame WRs TJ Jones and DaVaris Daniels present a problem for Rutgers, which has allowed at least 400 yards passing four times this season. DE Darius Hamilton (team-leading 10 tackles for loss) must pressure QB Tommy Rees for the Scarlet Knights to stop the Irish passing game.

Belk Bowl

Who: Cincinnati (9-3, 6-2 American Athletic) vs. North Carolina (6-6, 4-4 ACC)

When/where: 3:20; Charlotte, N.C.

TV/radio: ESPN; 620-AM

Line: North Carolina by 2 1/2

Notable: UNC QB Marquise Williams has thrown for 14 TDs and run for six since taking over for Bryn Renner. He's also the team's leading rusher (490 yards). Cincinnati has limited opponents to 19.5 points a game, while QB Brendon Kay (3,121 yards, 22 TDs) leads an offense averaging 33.3 points a game.

Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl

Who: Michigan (7-5, 3-5 Big Ten) vs. Kansas State (7-5, 5-4 Big 12)

When/where: 10:15; Tempe, Ariz.

TV/radio: ESPN; 620-AM

Line: Kansas State by 5

Notable: Michigan will start freshman QB Shane Morris (nine career pass attempts) because Devin Gardner is injured. So Michigan (130.8 yards a game, its worst run offense in a decade) will need to find a ground game.
