College football preview: No. 12 Florida Gators at Miami Hurricanes, noon Saturday, ESPN, 620-AM, 1470-AM

This is the final scheduled meeting between the Gators (1-0) and Hurricanes (1-0) for now, so their 55th meeting has added hype. Sun Life Stadium (74,916) is sold out. Miami has won six of the past seven meetings. Miami returns 19 starters, and a major priority for the Gators is slowing RB Duke Johnson and containing QB Stephen Morris,. "That guy can put his foot in the ground and change the score on any down," UF defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin said of Johnson.

Watch out for … The return of Florida RB Matt Jones, LB Antonio Morrison and CB Loucheiz Purifoy. Jones, an Armwood High graduate, missed preseason with a viral infection, but is set to make his debut. If he's healthy enough, along with Mack Brown and Valdez Showers, he adds a greater dimension to the backfield, which could help open the passing game. And though the Gators fared just fine without the suspended Morrison and Purifoy last week, the reality is there's a reason both are starters — talent.
