College football preview: No. 2 FSU vs. Idaho, 3:30 Saturday, ESPNU, 820-AM

No. 2 FSU vs. Idaho, 3:30, ESPNU, 820-AM

Florida State (10-0) is three victories from a likely berth in the BCS championship game. Each win puts the Seminoles closer to the school's third national title, but a sexual assault investigation involving QB Jameis Winston hangs over the program. Idaho (1-9) is playing for pride and a $900,000 payout. FSU is the only team in Division I-A ranked in the top five in scoring offense and scoring defense. The Seminoles have scored 40 or more in a school-record 10 consecutive games.

Watch out for … CB Lamarcus Joyner will be playing his last game in Tallahassee and will want to leave a lasting impression. Joyner is second on the team with 60 tackles, including 7½ for loss, one sack, one interception and a fumble recovery. He plays a Charles Woodson-type role for the Seminoles as the nickelback that excels in coverage, can play the run and can be effective on a blitz.
