The Bulls (4-7, 3-4 AAC) lead the all-time series 4-1, and won both previous meetings in Tampa. UCF (7-3, 5-1), a half-game behind Memphis in the American Athletic Conference standings, must win to remain in reasonable contention for the league title. The Bulls, meantime, can avenge a back-breaking 2013 loss in Orlando and earn a quality win upon which to build entering a pivotal 2015 season. The Knights, fourth nationally against the pass (163.3 ypg), face a Bulls offense that may finally have found a groove in its last five quarters. Since replacing Quinton Flowers midway through the fourth period at SMU two Saturdays ago, QB Mike White is 30-for-51 for 350 yards with two TDs and no interceptions. UCF has won 13 consecutive non-Saturday games.
WATCH OUT FOR: The 20 USF seniors who will be recognized on the field before kickoff. Among them will be RT Quinterrius Eatmon, expected to make his 46th career start, which will rank him second all-time at USF. Knights junior WR Breshad Perriman, who had the game-winning 52-yard TD catch in last year's 23-20 UCF win, leads the Knights in receiving yards (712), yards per catch (23.0) and TD catches (seven). Three previously sidelined USF starters — LG Thor Jozwiak (concussion), DL Elkino Watson (suspension) and WR Rodney Adams (groin) — are expected back.
