FAMU at S. Carolina State, 1:30: QB Damien Fleming is nearing 1,000 yards passing for the Rattlers (3-6, 2-3 MEAC). He has 962 with six touchdowns. South Carolina State is 6-3 and 4-1 in the conference.

FIU at Middle Tenn. State, 4: Middle Tennessee (5-4, 3-2 C-USA) aims to become bowl eligible with a win. Freshman TE Jonnu Smith is emerging as a playmaker for the Panthers (1-7, 1-3), posting a career-high 10 catches for 97 yards against East Carolina last week.

Bethune-Cookman vs. Norfolk State, 4: At 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the MEAC, the Wildcats control the conference. Their only loss is to Florida State, which could play for the BCS title. Norfolk State is 2-7, 2-3.

No. 19 UCF vs. Houston, 7, ESPN2, 1350-AM: The lone unbeatens in the American Athletic Conference meet, with the winner taking sole possession of first in the race for the league's automatic BCS berth. The Knights (6-1, 3-0) have their highest ranking in school history and can match the best start in program history with a win. The Cougars (7-1, 4-0) are trying to win their third in a row since a one-point loss to Brigham Young.

No. 14 Miami vs. Va. Tech, 7, ESPN, 1040-AM: Nothing will be clinched, but the winner will be in control of the ACC's Coastal Division race. Miami (7-1, 3-1) enters as the only one-loss team in the Coastal. Virginia Tech (6-3, 3-2) is trying to avoid its second three-game conference losing streak in as many seasons. Before last year, the Hokies hadn't had a three-game slide in league play since they were in the Big East.
