HOT PROSPECTS: After struggling to salvage a solid class last year, the Gators' recruiting haul is headed toward a potential top-five ranking and was briefly ranked No. 1 nationally. Army All-American Franks is Rivals' No. 3 pro-style quarterback and could be the Gators' future at that position. UF is addressing its lack of playmakers with a quartet of four-star receivers, led by Swain and Hammond. Clayton is a five-star talent ranked and is ESPN's No. 10 overall recruit. Manuel — a former Blake High star — is another top-100 talent, and poaching Pinerio from Alabama could immediately fix the team's kicking woes.
