College football scouting report: Florida at No. 24 Auburn, 7 p.m. Saturday, ESPN, 1250-AM

The Gators (4-2, 2-2 SEC) try to halt a two-game losing streak against their third straight ranked opponent and second straight road game. Auburn (4-2, 2-1) is coming off a double-digit loss to Arkansas. This is a rivalry that traditionally hasn't been kind to UF on the road. Florida is 8-25-1 at Auburn. Florida coach Will Muschamp is once again facing a school where he once coached. Muschamp is a former Auburn graduate assistant and was defensive coordinator for the Tigers in 2006-07. Auburn coach Gene Chizik is a Florida graduate.

WATCH OUT FOR …

Both teams enter the game with quarterback issues. Florida starter John Brantley is injured, and both backups are freshmen with virtually no experience. Auburn junior Barrett Trotter has come under fire recently, and last week the Tigers used three QBs during the game. Chizik said Barrett will start, but expect to see Kiehl Frazier, left, who had 28 snaps last week, play as well. Chizik is looking for more consistent play from his receivers, too. UF has to correct the penalties that have plagued this team, get its running game going to take pressure of the quarterbacks and get better play from its defense. Otherwise, the Gators could head into next week's bye on a three-game losing streak.
