College football scouting report: No. 23 Florida State Seminoles vs. Virginia Cavaliers, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, ESPN2, 1040-AM, 820-AM

The stakes are about as high for Virginia (7-3, 4-2 ACC) as they have been in a long time. The Cavaliers could win their first ACC Coastal Division title and qualify for next month's league championship game against Clemson if they can defeat the Seminoles (7-3, 5-2) and then intrastate rival Virginia Tech on Nov. 26. Florida State is trying to land an attractive bowl date in late December.
