Florida Gators open more spring practices

GAINESVILLE — Following a 2013 season that resulted in a 4-8 overall record, Florida will open an unprecedented eight practices to fans during this year's spring football drills, along with the annual Orange and Blue game.

Florida coach Will Muschamp has had limited open spring practices since his arrival four years ago.

The Gators will begin spring practice on March 19 and the following dates will be open to fans: March 19, March 21-22, March 24, March 26, March 31, April 2 and April 11. The annual Orange and Blue game will be at 1:30 April 12 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
