FSU football spring game preview

FSU spring game

When/where: 2 p.m.; Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallahassee

Admission: Free

Of note: The Seminoles lost a wealth of talent from last season and have a revamped coaching staff. Four players are battling at quarterback, and the starter is unlikely to be resolved until fall camp. QB Clint Trickett has experience, but Jameis Winston may emerge in the end. RB James Wilder Jr., a former Plant High standout, won't play today because of bruised ribs. The defense is replacing the bulk of the front seven, but recent recruiting classes have been strong.
