TALLAHASSEE — Florida State offensive lineman Landon Dickerson will miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL in his right knee during practice this week.

Coach Jimbo Fisher made the announcement Thursday as the No. 19 Seminoles wrapped up preparations for Saturday's game at North Carolina State.

Dickerson, a freshman, had started the past seven games at right guard. Wilson Bell, who started the Sept. 5 opener against Mississippi, is expected to start.

Fisher also said receiver Jesus "Bobo" Wilson is out indefinitely due to a foot injury sustained Oct. 15 against Wake Forest.

harvard suspends soccer team: Harvard University is suspending its men's soccer team for the rest of the season over sexual comments made about the women's soccer team. University president Drew Faust said in a statement Thursday night that an investigation into the 2012 team found that their "appalling" comments were not isolated and have continued through the current season. The 2012 document uncovered by the Harvard Crimson student newspaper rated the attractiveness of recruits on the women's team and included lewd comments about them. Members of the men's team called it their "scouting report" and circulated it online. Athletic director Robert Scalise has sent an email to student athletes announcing that the university will forfeit its remaining games. The team is currently ranked first in the Ivy League.

Women's basketball: A'ja Wilson of South Carolina and Kelsey Mitchell of Ohio State lead the Associated Press' preseason All-America team. Both were honored last season as first-team All-Americas. Brianna Turner of Notre Dame, Nina Davis of Baylor and Kelsey Plum of Washington round out this season's team. "It's unbelievable. I came from being a little girl who didn't want to play the sport of basketball," Wilson said. "I didn't want to deal with sweating or basketball running. Now, being one of the top five players in the country with such a great group of girls is pretty unbelievable."
