The Florida Gators released coaching contracts for their assistants on Friday, including a $400,000 raise for new defensive coordinator Randy Shannon.
Shannon will earn $890,000 annually in his three-year deal. The former Miami coach was promoted from linebackers coach after coordinator Geoff Collins became coach at Temple. Shannon's salary is the same as what Collins made last year, but Collins' $150,000 retention bonus made him one of the nation's few seven-figure assistants.
The details on the two-year contracts for UF's three new assistants:
Running backs coach JaJuan Seider: $335,000 in first year, $345,000 in second year
Defensive backs coach Corey Bell: $290,000 in first year, $315,000 in second year
Offensive line coach Brad Davis: $290,000 in first year, $315,000 in second year
