Florida State Seminoles drop Game 1 of NCAA baseball Super Regional to Arkansas Razorbacks, 7-2

TALLAHASSEE — Mike Bolsinger threw five scoreless innings and Arkansas scored four of its runs without a hit to defeat Florida State 7-2 in a Super Region game that took more than nine hours to complete Friday because of rain delays.

Florida State (45-17) must win two straight in the best-of-three series to make the College World Series for a second straight year.

Bolsinger (6-4) fanned six and scattered four hits after replacing starter Dallas Keuchel. FSU starter Sean Gilmartin, who threw 70 pitches, did not return after the third and longest delay of 4 hours, 22 minutes.

The Razorbacks (38-22) took a 5-2 lead in the seventh, scoring three without a hit.
