NCAA men's soccer tournament Elite Eight: South Florida Bulls at Wake Forest preview

Men's Soccer elite 8

USF (15-4-3) at Wake Forest (20-1-1)

When/where: 4:30 p.m.; Spry Stadium, Winston-Salem, N.C.

Notable: USF is the No. 8 seed, against top-seeded and top-ranked Wake Forest, the defending national champion and prohibitive favorite to repeat. It's USF's second Elite Eight appearance — in 1997, the Bulls lost 6-0 at the No. 1 seed, Indiana. The Demon Deacons have three players with 10 or more goals, led by Cody Arnoux's 17; USF's top scorer is senior Jordan Seabrook, with six. The Bulls have one of the nation's top defenses, with keeper Jeff Attinella ranking in the top 10 nationally in goals-against-average and save percentage. The winner advances to next weekend's Final Four in Frisco, Texas. Fans can watch the game online for free at
