Maddie Bertisch struck out eight batters over four innings and gave up just one hit to lead Oldsmar in a 10-0 victory over Largo/Clearwater/Dunedin in 9-10 softball in District 12.

Angelina Serrano's two-out, two-RBI double sealed the victory for Oldsmar.

PALM HARBOR 7, LARGO 3: In 15-16 baseball, Ryan Allen pitched six strong innings to lead Palm Harbor to a tournament-opening victory over Largo.

With the score tied at one in the fourth inning, Alex Raymonds hit a two-RBI single, leading Seminole No. 1 to a 3-1 win over Northeast No. 1 and the 9-10 District 5 championship.

Seminole No. 1 centerfielder Garrett Mahoney made two spectacular catches, the second coming against the outfield wall with a runner on second in the fifth inning, to preserve Seminole No. 1's lead.

Nick Lamoureux pitched 6.1 innings and gave up just one run in a solid outing. Raymonds came on to close out the victory and earn the save.

SEMINOLE 5, NORTHEAST 0: Daniel Oberst threw a no-hitter to pitch Seminole to the 10-11 baseball district championship.

I really think if they are going to have this section they need to keep it updated. So much happened this weekend and with the semi-finals tonight for 9-10 I would like to see something here about it!

Brandon Wright was the best reporter you guys had. He did a great job with LL. More readers are interested in LL than the Dog Track Results. Talk about doggone!

Mad mom, you are right! the St. Pete Times does a horrible job of covering Little League Baseball, they make no effort to gather info, pitiful.
