Largo resident Gabriel Ramos held off the rest of the field to comfortably win the City of Dunedin Hog Hustle 5K on Saturday.
Ramos, 19, completed the race through the streets of Dunedin in 16:51 to hold off runnerup Larry Smart of Tampa (17:21). Zach Hoge, 17 of St. Pete Beach, finished third in 17:47.
Lisa Williams, 31 of Largo, won the women's competition by nearly a full minute. Williams was across the line in 20:50. Molly Hardman of Lake Wales was second in 21:48.
Carol Bancroft, 50 of Safety Harbor, also the female masters champion, placed third in 22:21.

FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL TRIATHLON: Several county triathletes traveled to Siesta Key on Saturday to compete in the Florida International Triathlon and its 1.5K swim, 26-mile bike and 10K run.
Nat Glackin, 28 of St. Petersburg, won the male 25- to 29-year-old age division by nearly 13 minutes after crossing the finish line in 2:04:56
Chris Pyhel, 39 of Tierra Verde, finished in 2:09:16 to take first in the 35-39 age division.
John Cornish, 50 of Palm Harbor, won the Clydesdale 40-99 age division in 2:34:37. Savannah Dearden, 17 of St. Petersburg, was the top runner in the female 15-17 division after running across the finish in 2:31:01.
In the sprint triathlon competition, Benjamin Carlson, 26 of St. Petersburg, was the overall winner after completing the 400-meter swim, 13-mile bike and 5K run in 1:00:54.
Paul Spence, 46 of St. Petersburg, was the top sprint triathlon runner in the 45-49 age division in 1:07:01.
Michael Duffey, 42 of Clearwater, completed the sprint duathlon — 1-mile run, 13-mile bike, 5K run — in 1:14:32 to finish first in the 40-44 division.
MILES FOR MOFFITT 5K: St. Petersburg's Lee Stephens, 28, dominated the field at the Florida Bank Miles for Moffitt 5K at USF on Saturday. Stephens ran the 5K in 16:19 to finish more than a minute ahead of Tampa's Matt Spruiell (17:39), who was second.
Steve Schwab, 43 of Oldsmar, was the top male masters runner after finishing in 18:29. Stephanie Dyer, 40 of St. Petersburg, was second in the female masters competition in 23:54.
Caroline Wilder, 12 of St. Petersburg, won the female 10-14 age division in 22:17.
Among cancer survivors who completed the 5K, Jeffrey Vasta, 41 of Palm Harbor, was the fastest male after coming across the finish in 22:24. Kim Hibbert, 27 of St. Petersburg, won the female survivors competition in 25:50.
In the 5-mile competition at the Florida Bank Miles for Moffitt, Kenneth City resident Christa Benton, 26, was the female champion in 29:04.
Heather Boggini, 40 of St. Petersburg, was the top female cancer survivor to cross the finish in 40:13.
Christy Phillips, 54 of St. Petersburg, won the female 50-54 division in 36 minutes.
Karen Nasello, 45 of Treasure Island, ran 32:24 to place second among female masters runners.
CHICAGO SPRING HALF MARATHON: Jim Patton, 70, of Seminole was the top runner in the 70-and-over age group at the Chicago Spring Half Marathon on Sunday. Patton's winning time for the 13.1-mile race was 2:45:48.
CYCLING NEWS: Sandy Scott won three championships Saturday at the Alabama Senior Olympics in Montgomery.
Scott won the 5K and 10K time trial events in the 70-and-over age group. His 10K time was the fastest across age groups and his 5K time the second fastest.
Scott was also the road race champion.
In two weeks, Scott has won five state cycling championships — two in Florida, three in Alabama — bringing his overall count to 16 state championships in three and a half years.
