CHICAGO — Former Ray Edwin Jackson struck out 11 in seven innings and Welington Castillo hit a two-run double to lead the Cubs. Jackson had his best outing for Chicago since signing as a free agent before the 2013 season. The right-hander had 10 strikeouts by the fifth inning. After giving up a one-out single in the seventh and persuading manager Rick Renteria to leave him in, he finished his outing by striking out Jeff Bianchi on 95 mph fastball.
