CINCINNATI — Anthony Rizzo homered for the third consecutive game and Jon Lester pitched seven innings to carry the Cubs. Chicago improved to 13-4, the best record in the majors and one of the best starts in the past 100 years. The Cubs also opened 13-4 in 1908 — the last time they won the World Series. Rizzo hit a solo shot — his team-high sixth — off Jon Moscot as the Cubs pulled ahead 4-0 in the fourth inning.
