CHICAGO — Former Ray Jason Hammel pitched seven strong innings, Mike Olt hit a three-run homer and Nate Schierholtz drove in two early runs to lead the Cubs. Hammel improved his ERA to 2.60 for Chicago, which has won three of four, including back-to-back games for the first time this season. It last won consecutive games last Sept. 9-10 against the Reds.
