PHOENIX — Ian Kennedy pitched eight strong innings for his 14th victory, Miguel Montero drove in two runs with two doubles and Arizona finally got a home win over San Diego. The Padres were 6-0 at the Diamondbacks this season before dropping the series opener. Kennedy overcame a 30-pitch first inning. A 21-game winner in 2011, he is 8-3 in his past 12 starts. Eric Stults took his first loss since June 3.
