CHICAGO — Wade Miley pitched seven strong innings and Cody Ross had three hits for the Diamondbacks. Miley's only mistake came on an 0-and-1 pitch in the fifth inning that Paul Konerko hit over the leftfield fence for a two-run home run. Addison Reed gave up a run in the ninth but worked out of a jam to get the save in his first appearance against his former team.
