PHOENIX — Tyler Skaggs dominated in his return to the Diamondbacks' rotation. Skaggs, who turns 22 next week, was called up from Triple A for the second time this season to make the start. After allowing a first-inning single, he retired 12 in a row. Skaggs was backed by Paul Goldschmidt, who drove in runs with a single (third) and double (sixth), raising his NL-leading total to 71. The Rockies' Jorge De La Rosa entered having allowed a combined three runs over his previous three starts.
