SAN DIEGO — Runaway Cy Young Award favorite Clayton Kershaw struck out 10 in seven dominant innings, and Yasiel Puig and A.J. Ellis hit two-run homers for the Dodgers. Kershaw, who leads the NL with 224 strikeouts, improved his majors-best ERA to 1.88 as he seeks to become the first pitcher to lead the majors in ERA in three straight seasons since Atlanta's Greg Maddux from 1993-95.
